Season One: “The Next Generation”
Blackeagle’s Primary Mission:
The Federation also knew that the Romulan Star Empire needed to be kept an eye on. They decided to dispatch the USS Blackeagle, the Flagship for the 8th Fleet Strategic and Covert Operations Group. The ship is under the command of Captain Melora Solwick, the mission to monitor the Romulan people, was given to Captain Yadira Tristen and Captain Finchey Kerr.
The Dominion War has been over for a decade, the Federation is living in its golden age of exploration. Since the end of the war, the Federation has been focusing its effort on exploration and making first contact with several new worlds.
The Federation member worlds are torn, even though the Romulans participated in the Dominion War, most colonies within the Federation can not forgive the past transgressions of the Romulan Government. The Federation is divided. They know if they do not assist the Romulan people, they could become extinct. The Romulan Star is about to go supernova.
The Federation has agreed to offer humanitarian aid to the Romulan Star Empire. A relocation armada is being created, and Admiral Jean Luc Picard is leading up the project.
The Romulan Senate agreed to allow Admiral Picard’s fleet to assist in the relocation project. The Romulan’s knew they were at the verge of total collapse. They agreed to set up a new Home World on Rator III.
The USS Blackeagle will provide secondary contact with corps worlds of the Federation while utilizing the Federations latest advancement in sensor technology. They monitor and track all ship movements along the border and report the information back to Starfleet.
Fleet Covert Operations and Fleet Strategic Operations Missions:
Starfleet has assigned Captain Finchey Kerr to serve as the Fleet Covert Operations Officer aboard the USS Blackeagle. He would be responsible for all intelligence and special operations near the Romulan-Federation Border.
Intelligence will be focusing on the Romulan Star Empire, with the assistance of Strategic Operations. Special Operations will be working on securing the Federation borders from a new potential threat to the Federation. A threat that was previously overlooked.
Starfleet has sent Captain Yadira Tristen. She will be responsible for all ship movements and base placement locations. She will work in collaboration with Starfleet Intelligence and determine potential threat analysis for the Federation.
Blackeagle’s Secondary Mission:
The Federation has tasked the USS Blackeagle for making secondary contact with corps member worlds within the Federation Border. A role that was previously only assigned to California class starships. But after the recent attacks from the Pakled’s and other hostile species, the Federation decided to add ships with more fire power to help disway the hostile aggressors from preying on the Federation. Another race starts to make its presence felt.
A new enemy rises during Season One. The Orion syndicate move to target Federation outer colonies, preying on the Federation inability to protect their outer colonies. Especially with the Pakled’s attacking them within their own borders. And the Federation focused on the rescue efforts of the Romulan Star Empire.
