Girl on the Shuttle

Mission: The 'Eagle continues.
Location: Starfleet Academy: Shuttle Operations Center
Timeline: MD001 0815 hrs

Nathan was uncertain what to think of his new assignment the USS Blackeagle. He wondered why they sending him there. He learned in his orders, that he would be under the Command of Captain Finchey Kerr, but that was not the commanding officer of the USS Blackeagle.

Captain Melora Solwick would be the commanding officer of the ship. He wondered what was exactly going on with the USS Blackeagle. Even though he was not sure, he remembered once hearing that in the old days of Earth, it was not uncommon for Carriers to serve many roles within the navy.

He wondered if this was something similar. There was only one way to find out, he needed to get his butt aboard the USS Blackeagle as soon as possible. As he headed towards a shuttle, he wondered what life was going to be like on this escort carrier called the Blackeagle.

He started to think of his failed relationship with Susie Marie. Part of him was lonely and wanted to seek female companionship, especially now that he was out of the academy. He felt like he could devote more time to the ladies.

Deep down he was a hopeless romantic. But he also knew he tended to over think things, and worry about things that he really did not need to worry about. He also knew that his social skills were really lacking and he found it hard to balance his personal life from his academy life. This is something he would need to change, if he wanted to find a girl any time soon.

It did not take very long for Nathan to board the passenger transport shuttle and start to head towards the USS Blackeagle. The shuttle was packed with other officers. A few of them he remembered from the Academy. But he did not know them personally. Then there was a girl that caught his eye. A brown haired cutie wearing a teal uniform.

Just when all thoughts were lost in his mind, something on the shuttle changed his mind. He was memorized by her beauty. He did not want to over stare. He did not want to come off as a creep.

He tried not to over stare at her, as he walked over to an empty seat. Sadly there was no chair near her. And he could see that other guys were already talking to her.

He tried to burry her beauty with his datapad. He started to review it, wanting to make sure he was ready to meet the Captain as soon as he boarded the USS Blackeagle. But it was hard not to look at her mere beauty.

Nathan did his best to study, but he kept looking at her, as she was looking him and the others. It seemed liked she was not comfortable with the others around her. They appeared to be annoying her.

For the moment he just smiled at her as the scene starts to fade away with shuttle taking him and the other passengers up to the USS Blackeagle. He wanted to save her, but he did not want to come off as a creep.
