Mission: The 'Eagle continues.
Location: Alec and Isabelle's Cabin
Timeline: After Medical Corundum

After leaving Shon and Sickbay, Alec and Isabelle slowly made their way to their cabin. Alec's hand had reached out a couple of times to touch Isabelle's as they walked the corridor, He was uneasy, not because of Isabelle, no he loved her totally but because of what was happening to him and his senses. Was he going to lose himself? Not be Alec Hunter anymore?

Worse he didn't want to burden Isabelle. She was dealing with issues of her own and he would support her every way he could. They reached the cabin, and he keyed the lock to let them in, Once the door slid shut behind them, he turned and kissed her passionately. "Are you alright?" Concern evident in every word he uttered as he steered them to the couch to sit down.

“I think so” Isabelle nodded as she looked into Alec’s eyes. “I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel like I’d lost a part of myself, not that I wanted to be an augment. Instead I’m a walking nanite factory.” She offered a wry smile. “I’m more worried about you, what’s happening to you?”

"I can certainly understand that, Isabelle. However, you aren't a walking nanite factory. What you are, is a wonderful woman who I happen to love very much." He sighed and shook his head. "I don't know but I feel like I'm losing myself with these changes in my senses. I don't want the captain or crew thinking I'm nuts." He smiled again, "Thank you for caring about me."

“How can I not? I love you remember” Isabelle smiled as she sat down on the sofa. “I don’t know what’s happening to you Alec but I’m not going to let you loose yourself.”

He smiled gently and took Isabelle's hand. feeling the softness and the subtleness of her skin. "I do remember, and I consider myself very lucky to have a woman such as yourself to love me, just you remember I love you as well. I'm glad you are here with Isabelle."

“I’m not going anywhere, this is my home now and I know now that I want to be bonded to you.” Isabelle gave him a warm smile. “I know up until now we haven’t rushed into anything, but I want to…” she paused looking towards the bedroom then back at Alec. “I want to make love with you Alec.”

A smile broke over Alec's features at hearing Isabelle's words. "You are right this is your home, and nothing would give me greater pleasure than to be bonded with you. Now, that being said, are you sure? As you pointed out we haven't rushed anything." He paused, and a grin appeared on his face. "I really want to make love to you too Isabelle."

“Then why waste any more time” Isabelle gently took hold of Alec’s hand, leading him towards their bedroom. “Just promise me if it’s too much you’ll tell me?”

Alec held Isabelle's hand. he knew when he first met her, she was special. He grinned at her, "Geez, Isabelle just what are you planning?" He teased as a bright smile broke across his features. "I promise if it gets to be too much I will tell you."

“Good” Isabelle grinned. “Because if anything happens to you Shon will go mad.” Entering the bedroom she paused at the end of the bed drapping her arms around Alec’s neck she kissed him passionately.

"Oh, Shon will go mad, but you will be okay?" Alec bantered as they entered the bedroom. He returned Isabelle's kiss with equal passion. His hand at her slender waist. His heighten senses taking in every detail of Isabelle. From the light smell of her shampoo that still lingered in her hair, To the heavenly scent of the perfume she wore that attracted and entrapped him. To her bright eyes and the love, they contained within them and her brilliant smile. He knew his eyes held that same look of love and his smile was as brilliant as hers. However more than anything Alec knew as he could hear their hearts beating in sync that he loved Isabelle with every fiber of his being, and he was incomplete without her.

“I’ll be fine, what part of me is missing has found a new part right here with you.” Isabelle smiled as she encouraged Alec further, this would be one night that neither of them would forget in a while.

"I like that, no I love that. That is such a wonderful thing to say. I feel the same way. I have found what I am looking for in you." Alec replied as he kissed Isabelle softly. He wanted this night to be a special one. He had found his special love, his soulmate and now he wanted to complete their relationship.

Isabelle returned the kiss encouraging Alec down onto the soft bed with her. She was ready to let their relationship take its natural course.

Alec slowly sank onto the bed with Isabelle. His eyes on her. Her aura seemed brighter, warmer and that please him as he gently caressed her cheek, He followed that up with another soft kiss on her lips. "I love you." He softly told her.

“I love you too” Isabelle smiled as she looked into Alec’s eyes, the way he gazed at her was at though he could see into her very soul. “What are you seeing?”

Alec paused before replying, what was he seeing when he looked at Isabelle? He was unsure for a bit but then he had it. "I see you Isabelle, I mean all of you. Your aura for example is soft and welcoming. It offers comfort and compassion. It shows you to be a remarkable woman. A woman of trust and loyalty. One worthy of great respect and all the love I can give her."

Isabelle was amazed at just how Alec saw her, it was amazing that he could see her aura. “I don’t know what’s happening to you Alec but no matter what I’ll be at your side, that much I promise you.”

Alec nodded, gratitude in his eyes. "Thank you, Isabelle. I need all the support I can get. Just remember to love me as well. You don't think I'm going crazy?"

“Crazy?” Her fingers trailed lightly over his skin as she helped him off with his clothing. “I don’t think you’re crazy, I believe you can see what you’re saying you can see.”

Alec didn't resist as Isabelle helped get his clothes off. Then it was his turn to help her remove her clothes. His touch was soft and gentle. Isabelle was the universe to him. "Thank you, for believing me, trusting me. I will never lie to you."

“I know” Isabelle smiled as she enjoyed their closeness, up until now they hadn’t rushed, taking their time for their relationship to grow before taking the next step. “When we bond it might feel pretty strange, just let our minds intertwine, don’t resist or you might feel more uncomfortable.”

Alec's eyes stayed on Isabelle's face. She was a picture of loveliness. "Isabelle, I trust you completely, totally. I won't resist. I promise you. I'm ready for this. To be even closer to you." His hand gently caressed her cheek. He could feel the softness of her skin and it excited him to know that this remarkable woman wanted to be with him as much as he wanted to be with her. He kissed her softly. "I'm ready." He repeated.

“So am I” Isabelle smiled, “I’ve been wanting this for a long time…”

< Sometime Later >

Isabelle lay cuddled up to Alec, the bed was in disarray thanks to their getting carried away but their bond had begun. It would take time to settle and properly establish.

Alec lay cuddled up next to Isabelle. Their love making had been fantastic and their bond was properly established and functioning as it should. He leaned over and kissed her softly. "I love you so much and I can feel you through the bond we now share."

“Already?” Isabelle smiled. “It normally takes time to establish, but maybe your condition…” she paused. “Wait, I can see it…the aura you spoke of, I can see it too!”

"Really!?" Alec said excited. "You can see my aura? That is incredible! Tell me sweetheart, what do you see?" Alec wanted to know all Isabelle could tell him about the aura she saw.

“It’s…beautiful” Isabelle smiled as she gazed at him. “You’re practically glowing with colours!” Her smile said it all. “Should this be happening?”

Alec laughed, not at Isabelle but the question. "I honestly don't know darling. I see your aura and it is golden and soft and comforting, warm. You said you see many colors when you look at me. Maybe it's a precursor to me having a nervous breakdown." He said with a laugh.

“Or maybe it’s just a brief period of transition for me, because of our bond.” Isabelle smiled. “Shon will go mad if we both end up permanently like this.”

"Probably but I kinda like seeing your aura. It just confirms what I already knew. That you are an amazing woman. A kind and good woman and the one I love with every fiber of my being." Alec replied.

Isabelle smiled, responding telepathically. *I know Imzadi, I can feel it. Can you still hear my thoughts?* She had taught him years ago, when they’d first met but it had been a long time.

Alec's eyes opened wide as he heard Isabelle's voice inside his head. Everything she had taught him came flooding back in an instant. He looked at her and smiled. * I hear you sweetheart. I hear you loud and clear and it is glorious! *

Isabelle’s smile said it all. “It’s so amazing that our bond has taken so quickly! I guess whatever is happening to you has helped.”

Alec nodded happily. "I think it just proves we are meant to be together. I also think you are right when you say our bond being established so quickly is because of whatever is going on with me."

Isabelle nodded. “Well whatever it is I think we both need some rest. Right now I’m happy to stay right here with you.”

Alec grinned, "Sage advice Counselor. Advice I completely agree with." As he wrapped his arms around Isabelle and held her close.
